The online registration process for IGNOU B.Ed. Admission 2019 had been extended from November 15, 2018 to November 18, 2018.
Candidates willing to appear for the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme for the academic session 2019 should register on Indira Gandhi National Open University or IGNOU's official website.

Step 4: Enter the required information.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) had announced the BEd programme for the January 2019 session.
The applicants can submit the forms through online mode only at onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in
The BEd Programme offered by IGNOU is an innovative programme utilizing self-instructional materials and information technology along with interactive personal contact programmes.
The programme is essentially a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses to develop in a practicing teacher appropriate knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes.
The BEd Programme of IGNOU is recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education).
The duration of the course is 2 years.
The medium of Instruction is in English and Hindi.
The admission to this programme is on the basis of an Entrance Test to be conducted in December 2018. The date for the same will be announced shortly.
Eligibility criterion:
The candidates who wish to apply for the course should have at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanity.
The candidates must have a degree of bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualifications equivalent thereto.
The following categories are eligible to be students of BEd (ODL):
(i) The candidates who have been trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
(ii) The candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
Note*
The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to the caniddates who belong to the SC/ ST/ OBC (Non- creamy layer)/ PWD category as per the rules of the Central Government.
The Reservation to Kashmiri Migrants and War window candidates will be provided as per University Rules.
Last Date: November 18, 2018. (The forms will be accepted only through the online portal of the University).
