A two-day international conference on ayurveda research and education, beginning here on May 24, is expected to provide learning opportunities for upcoming researchers in the field to hone their skills.
The goal of the conference +Insight Ayurveda-2013+ was to create a platform of limited and carefully selected reseaerchers and experts from around the world for an intense exchange of informaton, views and opinions, Dr P Ram Manohar, Director, AVP Research Foundation, the organisers, told reporters here today.
A major focus of the conference was to handhold the younger generation of researchers in the field of ayurveda to mature into scientists who can showcase its strengths in national and international scientific conferences, including the periodically conducted World Ayurveda Congress, he said.
Nearly 150 delegates were expected to participated in the conference, P Krishnakumar, Managing Director, Arya Vidya Pharmacy, said.
