Many UP board students are eagerly waiting for their result, scheduled to be declared at 12:30 p.m. today - June 9, 2017.
If you are one of them and end up scoring less than your expectation, it’s fine too. Shit happens. Always remember that there are countless more challenges in life and board result is just a little part of it. If for the sake of others, you have being 'expecting' more, you will be disheartened.
Below are a few tips to follow if you score less than your expectation.
Many cases are seen after the results of students committing suicides, falling prey to depression, feeling anxious and tensed etc. You need to remind yourself, that whatever you may score, it’s not the end of the world.
Stop lingering on the result and focus on future exams. Explore ways to improve.
Assess whether the expectations about your results were unrealistic.
Pacify yourself since this is not the only exam you are going to take; nor are you the only student who scored low marks.
Ask questions and get clarifications — it’s critical to understand the specific ways you can improve.
Take the initiative to make a detailed plan of action.
