While 11,557 students had registered for the compartment exam, the pass percentage for 10th compartment exam is 99.74%.

To bring government school students at par with those in the CBSE-affiliated institutions, UP government decided to introduce the NCERT pattern in examinations conducted by the board.
This apart, the UP board has removed Elementary Mathematics removed from the syllabus for the students of Class 9 and 10.
Old Syllabus
The old Maths syllabus had Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry and Logarithm.
New syllabus
The new Maths syllabus will contain Number system, Co-ordinate geometry, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability.

UPMSP has released the result for UP High School (class 10th) Compartment/ Improvement examination 2018.
Following the crackdown on cheating, 10 lakh students dropped out of the board exams.
The UP 10th Board exam commenced on February 6 and continued till 22 February 22, 2018.
The UP Board 12th exam started on February 6 and ended March 12, 2018.
Tight security arrangements were made to curb cheating and other malpractices.

Implementation of the new rule will be from the next academic session.
