The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has declared the results for the Agricultural Officer (Extension).
The applications through online mode for the direct recruitment of Agriculture Officer (Extension) were invited by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
The applications were invited from May 3, 2018 to June 2, 2018.
The Agricultural Officer (extension) exam was conducted in many centres including Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Salem and Thanjavur in the state.
On the basis of the results of the written examination conducted by the Commission on July 14, 2018 FN & AN, the candidates have been provisionally admitted to Certificate Verification for the post of Agricultural Officer (Extension) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Service, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
From October 29 to November 9, 2018 in the e-seva centres run by TACTV, the candidates who have cleared the exam and have been admitted provisionally to the Certificate Verification, must upload the scanned copy of documents in support of the claims made in their online application.
For the list of e-seva centres, the candidates must visit the official website.
The candidates will be informed regarding the details of the documents that are required to be uploaded through SMS and emails and also the details will be made available on the official website.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of two successive stages.
Stage I: The first stage will be the written examination stage
Stage II: The second stage will be the Oral Test which will be conducted in the shape of an interview.
The final selection will be based on the total marks attained by the candidates in the written exam as well as the interview.
For the post it was compulsory for the candidates to appear for the written exam as well as the interview.
