The merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions for 2019-20 has been released by the Selection Committee for Medical Admissions in Tamil Nadu. The list has been released today.
With 685 marks in NEET exam, Shruthi K from Tiruvallur has topped the list. The counselling for MBBS will begin from July 8. Counselling for special categories – ex-servicemen, differently-abled will take place on the first day.
After the release of rank list, Health minister, Vijayabhaskar said: “The state government convened an all-party meeting on Monday to take a decision on 10% EWS quota”.

About Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education is the authority to make admissions for All Medical, Dental & Paramedical courses in Government Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Colleges.
It functions under the control of Director of Medical Education as a chairperson and the Secretary in the cadre of Additional Director of Medical Education to look after its activities exclusively.
