The result for the Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 and Class 12 is to be declared in July 2020, by the Tamil Nadu Board.
The confirmation was made by the Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan, on Saturday.
He told reporters at Gobichettipalayam, "Mostly the class 10 and 12 exam results will be out in July and it is impossible to disclose the exact date of publication of the results".
The Tamil Nadu board also made the announcement recently of conducting the class 10 board exams for all the pending subjects in June. After the board exams are conducted with ease, the state will start the evaluation process and release the result potentially by July 2020.
As per the revised schedule announced by the government, the tenth standard board exams will be held from June 15 to 25 for over 9.5 lakh candidates.
The exams were postponed due to increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. Earlier, the exams were scheduled from June 1-12.
He further said that the teachers are already engaged in the evaluation of answer sheets of class 12 exams.
