The result for the diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed), second semester has been declared by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on its official website.
The examination was conducted in September 2018 for the D.El.Ed, secondary semester.
This exam is conducted twice a year.
There were around 1,62,457 untrained teachers appeared for the examination from West Bengal and 2,69,377 untrained teachers from Bihar 1,16,930, 66,323 from Jharkhand and 52084 from Odisha.
Results for Class 10 and Class 12 including for the on- demand exams are likely to be declared by the NIOS.
The examination for Class 10 and Class 12 were conducted in October- November 2018.

The two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is a government initiative to train teachers. Teachers responsible for class 1 to class 8 undergo the exam.
