Candidates of Class 10 and 12, who had appeared for the CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 in the month of December 2021 have been eagerly waiting for their results. The evaluation process of Term 1 answer sheets is still underway and thus, the Board has not issued any particular date for the declaration of results. It is being speculated that the delay in evaluation of answer sheets is due to the resurgence of Covid-19 cases, which has again put the brakes on academic activities in numerous Indian states.
The CBSE board has decided that the results of Term 1 exams will be declared in the form of marks scored by the candidates and no appearing student will be labelled as PASS or FAIL. Notably, the CBSE Board had issued an official notice on October 14, 2021, in which it clearly stated that after the conclusion of Term 1 Exams, the result will be declared in the form of marks scored. It added that no student shall be placed in the PASS, Compartment or Essential Repeat category, once the Term 1 results are out.
Candidates must note that CBSE Board will release the final results for the academic year 2021-22 after the Term 2 Examinations are wrapped up and Term 2 answer sheets are evaluated.
The Board is yet to release the Term 2 Exam dates and has released the sample papers for Class 10 and 12 students, who are engaged in Term 2 Exam preparations. The sample papers can be downloaded from the board's official website at cbseacademic.nic.in.
