Few Exams were Pending, and Could not be conducted due to Coronavirus Outbreak
The reasoning of the board behind this is that when all the examinations of students have not been done due to the corona, then how the merit list can be issued. The result of the students has been released based on some of their papers, which they gave. In such a situation, it is also believed that if the merit list is issued then a student can go to court and question the merit list.
Some examinations were not done due to Delhi violence
Apart from Corona, in February, due to the Delhi violence, there were no examinations of students from some areas. In such a case, issuing a merit list will be wrong with the students.
Another chance will be given
CBSE has stated that if a student is not satisfied with his marks, those students can take the optional examination, which will be conducted by the board later.
