BSEB Inter Result 2021: About 13.5 Lakh students applied for the exam

This year around 13.5 lakh candidates had registered for Bihar Board Intermediate Examinations. Out of which 7.03 lakh were boys and 6.46 lakh were girls. The class 12th examinations were held from February 1 to February 13, 2021. 

Result awaited by 13 Lakh students

Around 13 lakh students are eagerly waiting for the Bihar Board 12th Result 2021. Out of which 6.5 lakhs are girls and 5.4 lakh are boys.

Last year stream-wise pass percentage

In 2020, the overall pass percentage for Bihar Board Class 12th examination was stood at 80.44%.

• The pass percentage for Science stream was stood at 81.44%
• The pass percentage for Commerce stream was stood at 93.26%
• The pass percentage for Arts stream was stood at 77.39%

In 2019, Overall Pass Percentage Stood at 79.76%

In 2019, the overall pass percentage was stood at 79,76%. There was an improvement of 26.81% in pass percentage as compared to 2018. There were approximately 12,78,655 candidates appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12th Exam 2019.

• The pass percentage for Science stream was stood at 81.2%
• The pass percentage for Commerce stream was stood at 93.02%
• The pass percentage for Arts stream was stood at 76.53%

Bihar Board Result 2018 Statistics

More than 11.9 lakh students appeared in the Bihar Board Inter Exam 2018. Just 6.3% percent of students in Bihar completed their intermediate exams successfully. 

• The Science stream had a pass rate of 44.7 %
• The pass rate for the Commerce stream was  91.32%
• The pass rate for the Arts stream was 61.32 %

In 2017, 64.07% of students failed in BSEB Inter exam

More than 13.5 lakh students have appeared for the Bihar Board Inter Exam 2017. Out of which 35.25% of students successfully completed the board exams. 64.07 percent of students failed to qualify the exam.

• The Science stream had a pass rate of 30.11%
• The pass rate for the Commerce stream was 73.76%
• The pass rate for the Arts stream was 32.13 percent%

Meet Last Year Science Topper Neha Kumari

Last year, 80.44% have been passed in Commerce, Science, Arts stream overall.

• Neha Kumari has topped a total of 476 marks (95.2 percent) in the Science stream.
• In the commerce stream, Kausar Fatima and Sudhanshu Narayan Chaudhary topped the list with a total of 476 marks (95.2 percent).
• In arts, Sakshy Kumari has topped with 474 marks (94.80 percent).

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, BSEB successfully conducted Board exams

While most education boards are still to conduct their examinations, Bihar Board has successfully conducted the Class 10th, 12th examination and evaluation of answer sheets.

In 2019, the overall pass percentage was 79.76%. There was an improvement of 26.81% in pass percentage as compared to 2018.

BSEB 12th Result Confirmed at 3 PM Today

The Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB has issued an official notification stating the confirmation of the declaration of Bihar Board Class 12th Result 2021 today, March 26 at 3 PM. The result declaration date and time has been confirmed by the Bihar State Education Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary. The result will be declared by the authorities through press conference to be held at 3 PM, today.

BSEB 12th Result 2020: Girls Surpass Boys Last Year

Last year, a total of 12,04,834 students appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12th exam. Out of which a total 5,48,533 were girls and 6,56,301 are the total number of boys. While about 9,69,159 students have successfully qualified the exam.

• Girls’ pass percentage - 82.62%
• Boys’ pass percentage - 78.61%

BSEB 12th Result after 30 Minutes, Stay Tuned

As per the official updates, the Bihar Board Class 12th Result 2021 is likely to be out on the official website of BSEB at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Students are advised to stay tuned for all the latest updates here.

Meanwhile as per the criteria of Bihar board, if a student fails in any of the compulsory subject in BSEB 12th Exam 2021, then his/ her marks in the additional subject will be considered in the aggregate marks instead of the compulsory subject.

Bihar Board Class 12th Result 2021 has been declared today, March 26, 2021 by the Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB. A total of 13,40,267 students have appeared for the exam out of which 10,45,950 candidates have successfully qualified the exam.

BSEB 12th Result 2021: Check Section-wise Pass Percentage

In Bihar Board Class 12th Result 2021, the pass percentage of Arts stream stood at 77.97%, the pass percentage of Commerce stream stood at 91.48% while the pass percentage of Science stream stood at 76 .28%. 

As per the official updates, Madhu Bharti and Kailash Kumar together have topped the Bihar Board Inter Exams 2021 from Arts Stream. In 12th Commerce stream, Sugandha Kumari has topped the exam. While in the BSEB 12th Science stream, Sonali Kumari from Nalanda has topped the exam.
