UPSC Civil Services, IFS Exam 2022 Notification Released, 1012 Posts for IAS and IFS on Offer

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the notification for Civil Services Exam and Indian Forest Services Exam 2022 today, February 02. The detailed notification for the said recruitment drive is available on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The candidates who wish to appear for the Indian Administrative Services Exam for the year 2022 can fill up the application form online through the Commission's website.
According to the official notification issued by the UPSC, a total of 1012 posts is to be filled through its recruitment examination. Out of which 151 posts are for Indian Forest Services (IFS) and 861 posts are for Indian Administrative Services (IAS). Aspiring candidates can register online for the preliminary examination upto 22nd February 2022 till 6:00 PM. The selection of a candidate will be based on the preliminary exam, main exam and interview.

UPSC Civil Services IAS, IFS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Administrative Services (IAS): A candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognized University.               

For Indian Forest Services (IFS): A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized University.               

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2022): 21 to 32 years

UPSC Civil Services IAS, IFS 2022 Application Fee: Pay Examination fee through Debit/ credit card or Net Banking or challan in any branch of SBI.
For GEN/OBC: 100/-       
For SC/ST/PH candidates: No fee
