Application forms for 2,437 vacant posts of Allopathic Medical Officer (Grade 1) and others have been invited by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).

Vacant Posts
There are a total 2,437 vacant posts offered by the UPPSC for the candidates to apply for.
General: The candidates who belong to the general category can apply for a total of 1,178 posts.
O.B.C. : The candidates who belong to the Other Backward Class can apply for a total of 635 vacancies.
S.C. : The candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste category can apply for a total of 494 vacancies.
S.T.: The candidates who belong to the Scheduled Tribes category can apply for a total of 47 vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Criteria
- The candidates who wish to apply for the post must have attained M.B.B.S degree from a University recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidate with a post-graduation Degree/ Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject from a University recognized by the MCI or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council will be given preference.
- The candidates who have an experience of serving in the territorial army for at least two years as well as the candidates who have obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps.
Age Limit
-The candidates who wish to apply for the post should fall in a age criteria of 21 years to 40 years.
- The upper age limit for the candidates who belong to the reserved category will be given a relaxation as per the rules.
Vacancies such as Medical Education, Ground Water, State Planning, Nyaya Vibhag and many other departments of the commission has also been invited by the UPPSC.
