The applications are invited by DRDO for Scholarship Scheme for Girls / Women. Interested candidates can apply at drdo.gov.in OR rac.gov.in from July 19, 2020, to September 30, 2020.
Scholarship Details:
Level: Under Graduate* (BE/ B.TECH/ B.Sc. Engg)
Subject/Discipline: Aerospace Engg/ Aeronautical Engg/ Space Engg & Rocketry/ Avionics/ Aircraft Engg
No. of Scholarships: 20
Amount of Scholarship: Rs.120000/- year or annual fees whichever is less for a maximum period of four years
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be in the 1st year of the current academic year (2020-21) in the BE/BTech/BSc Engg course.
- JEE (Main) passed can apply and should have a valid JEE(Main) score.
Level: Post Graduate (ME/ MTech/ MSc Engg)
Subject/ Discipline: Aerospace Engg/ Aeronautical Engg/ Space Engg & Rocketry/ Avionics/ Aircraft Engg
No. of Scholarships: 10
Amount of Scholarship: Rs.15500/- per month subject to Rs.186000/- per year for a maximum period of two years.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have an admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2020-21) in the ME/ MTECH / MSc Engg course.
- Candidate should have a valid GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering) score.

Selection Process:
- First-year (BE/ BTech/ BSc Engg) scholarship (for 4-yr full-time course) will be based on the merit of JEE (Main).
- First-year Postgraduate (ME/ MTech/ MSc Engg) scholarship (for 2 yr full-time course) will be based on the valid GATE score on merit basis.
