Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate Apprentice Trainees: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age limit: 18 to 27 years for unreserved category
- 18 to 30 years for OBC
- 18 to 32 years for SC/ST
Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant Engineering discipline from the State Council or Board of Technical Education.
Age limit: - 18 to 27 years for unreserved category
- 18 to 30 years for OBC
- 18 to 32 years for SC/ST
Trade Apprentice: Certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education.

Selection Process for DRDO Apprentice Vacancy:
1. Graduate Apprentice Trainees (BE/ BTech/ Equivalent); Diploma Apprentice Trainees/ ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam followed by Screening test/Interview.
2. Details of shortlisted candidates for written test/interview will be published on the DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check regularly on the website for the exact date and time of interview/screening test.
3. Screening test / Interview (or) both may be conducted at GTRE, Bengaluru for Graduate/Diploma & ITI apprentices as per dates announced in DRDO Website (www.drdo.gov.in) depending upon the number of applicants reporting for an interview at GTRE, Bengaluru.
