The application process for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is to commence from tomorrow i.e. January 23, 2019.
The examination will be conducted for the admission for the first year B.Tech courses, B.Arch / B Des/ B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA.
The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 21, 2019.
UPSEE 2019: Important dates
January 23 at 2 pm onwards: Online application for the entrance examination starts from this date.
March 15 at 5 pm: Last date for submitting the application for the entrance examination.
April 3: Online partial correction of the filled and submitted form.
April 15: Admit card release
April 21: UPSEE 2019 examination
Last week of May 2019: Result releases
June 10, 2019, to July 15, 2019: Counselling begins
Last week July: Spot round counselling
UPSEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: There is no age limit for the admission to the courses covered in UPSEE-2019.
Educational Background: The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance examination should have completed their 10+2 or intermediate exam from UP board or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
The candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45 percent with physics and mathematics as subjects studied by them without getting grace marks. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to secure an aggregate of 40 percent in their 10+2.
Moreover, the students should have studied one of the following subjects – Biology, Chemistry or Biotechnology as an optional subject. For BTech Biotechnology programme, the aspirant should have studied biotechnology or chemistry as optional subjects.
Exam fees: The application fee is Rs 1300 for male/transgender candidates of general and OBC category. For females/ physically handicapped candidates of all categories / SC/ST candidates, it is Rs 650.
