Three days after the Uttar Pradesh Combined Premedical Test (UPCPMT) was cancelled over suspected question paper leak, police on Wednesday said the number of papers in the two boxes, which were allegedly tampered with, were found to be intact.
The Special Task Force and Ghaziabad district administration, which are probing into the suspected UPCPMT papers leak in Ghaziabad on June 22, examined the boxes kept in the strong rooms of Allahabad Bank and State Bank of India and prima facie found the number of papers were appropriate, IG (law and order) Amrendra Sengar told reporters here.
"When the papers were taken out from the boxes and counted, their number was found to be appropriate," Sengar said, adding, that the reports of paper leak were incorrect.
