The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the tentative exam dates for Telangana Common Entrance Tests (TS CETs) 2020.
TSCHE Chairman T Papi Reddy released the exam calendar while talking to reporters.
According to the exam calendar, TS EAMCET examination for admission to engineering programs will be held from May 5 to 7, 2020.
The TS EAMCET examination for agriculture stream is scheduled to be held from May 9 to 11, 2020. While the exam for engineering stream is scheduled on May 5 to 7, 2020.
The TS ECET & TS EAMCET exam will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
The application process for the same is likely to commence from the 1st week of March. Last year, about 1.42 lakh students appeared for the engineering exam, around 74,981 appeared for the agriculture and pharmacy exam, while about 235 students appeared for both the exams.
The qualifying percentage for the engineering stream stood at 78.24% while for agriculture and pharmacy, it was 90.72%.
The Osmania University will conduct the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) on May 23, 2020. While the Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET), Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) and Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) law-based exams will be conducted by Osmania University between May 25 to 30, 2020.
