The evaluation process for the answer sheets of Class 10 Odisha Board exam is to begin from May 20, 2020, by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
There are a total of 60 centres across the state for the evaluation assigned by the board and it has appointed 6000 extra evaluators for the task. It has also said that following COVID-19 guidelines at evaluation centres is mandatory.
The result for the Odisha Board Class 10 Exam 2020 is likely to be declared in June, said the State Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
As per the reports, before being postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic Matric paper evaluation was held for two days i.e. on March 18, 2020, and March 19, 2020.
The matric exam was conducted from February 19 to March 2 in which around over 5 lakh students had appeared.
In February Mr Dash had said "Students who are weak in studies need special attention. Under the 'zero fail mission', we want to make sure that all schools in Odisha attain 100 per cent results".
