Meanwhile, the NBE has issued the preventive guidelines from coronavirus for candidates who have to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021 for Post-Graduation courses. As per the official notice, all candidates must have to follow these guidelines on the exam day.
NEET PG 2021: COVID-19 Advisory
Increase in No. of Test Centres
The NEET PG 2021 exam will be conducted on April 18, 2021, in 255 cities across the country. This year, the total number of exam centres for NEET PG 2021 has been increased to ensure that social distance between test-takers is preserved.
COVID-19 Travel Pass:
With the 2nd Wave of COVID-19 wreaking havoc on many states, local governments have reintroduced travel restrictions in a few areas. To make it easier for students to travel around on exam day, the NBE will issue each candidate a COVID e-pass, which will be given to them along with their hall ticket.
Thermal Scanning:
Candidates who have to appear for the NEET 2021 PG exam will have to go through the thermal scanning process before entering the exam centre. The candidates with a temperature above average or COVID symptoms will be allowed to take the NEET PG exam 2021 in an isolation lab.
COVID Safety Guard:
While entering the NEET PG exam centre, each applicant will be given a COVID-19 protective gear safety kit. The kit will consist of a face mask, a face protector, and five sanitiser sachets that will be included in the safety package. At the NEET PG 2021 exam centre, students must wear a face mask and face shield.
NBE has announced to conduct the Social Distanced - Computer Based Test (SD-CBT) in a safe and secure environment maintaining social distancing norms wherever needed. NBE reserves its rights to review the test day processes of conduct of CBT in wake of changing scenarios of the COVID-19 pandemic.
