The examination for the MPSC Subordinate Service and MPSC State Service post has been postponed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), due to COVID-19.
Earlier, the preliminary examination for the MPSC Subordinate Service exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2020, and MPSC State Service was scheduled to be conducted on April 5, 2020.
As per the latest official notification, now the MPSC Subordinate Service exam has been postponed and will be conducted on May 10, 2020, and the MPSC State Service exam will now be conducted on April 24, 2020.
The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination will have to appear for the main examination. The MPSC Subordinate Service main exam for Paper I will be conducted on September 6, 2020, and the MPSC State Service exam will be conducted on August 2, 3 and 4, 2020 in the state.
MPSC State Service exam will fill 200 vacancies in various departments in the state and the MPSC Subordinate Service exam will fill 806 posts of Sub Inspector, Assistant Section Officer and State Tax Inspector in the state.
