As per the latest media reports, the Maharashtra state government has announced the big updates on MHT CET 2021 examination to be held for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.This year, the Maharashtra State CET Cell will not conduct any entrance examinations pertaining to non-professional courses and students will get admissions to arts, science and commerce colleges on the basis of their Class 12 marks.
According to reports, the Minister for Higher and Technical Education Uday Samant has also asked varsities to send proposals to increase divisions in colleges as the number of students who passed the class board examinations has increased this year. The MHT Common Entrance Test 2021 for management, computer science, architecture and hotel management courses will be held from August 26 onward, further stated by the minister in his press brief.
Following the COVID-19 protocols, the test centres for CET 2021 examinations will also increase this year. The decision on reopening the colleges across the state would also be announced by the state government in the next eight days.
