Jharkhand TET 2024: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi is going to close the application window for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) today. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. www.jactetportal.com. to apply for the same.
Earlier, the application was going to be closed on 26 August 2024. Jharkhand TET 2024 is being conducted for candidates seeking teaching jobs in Jharkhand Government schools. Primary teachers must qualify Paper I to teach Classes 1 to 5 whereas Passing Paper II is necessary for teaching Classes 6 to 8.
The candidates who wish to participate in this exam must have passed the 12th class with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR a 2-year Diploma or 4-year Graduation degree in Elementary Education for the paper I. However, for paper II must have passed Graduation with a B.Ed degree/2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR a Bachelor’s degree of Science/Arts and Bachelor’s of Education (Integrated).
The candidate's age must be a minimum of 18 years for participating in Paper I and must be a minimum of 21 years for Paper II. However, there is no upper age limit requirements for either post.

- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. jactetportal.com.
- Then click on the application link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Pay the required fees and click on submit.
- Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
