Earlier on yesterday, the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank’ announced the JEE Main 2021 exam dates for April and May session exam. The National Testing Agency will conduct the Joint Entrance Exam for April 2021 from July 20 to July 25 and 27 July to August 2 for May 2021 sessions respectively.
Further, to protect students from infection, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has expanded the number of examination centres and cities for the computer-based (CBT) JEE-Mains examination. Previously, the February and March session examinations were held at 232 places. While the April and May sessions will now be held in 334 cities. Students can choose their home examination centre and city to avoid travelling issues.
A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been prepared for students, teachers, and other personnel assigned to the test centre. The examination will be conducted in accordance with this standard operating procedure. Students are required to report to the exam centre at their scheduled time periods.
Guidelines for Students
● It will be necessary to use mouth masks and gloves.
● Transparent water bottle are allowed
● Personal hand sanitizer in the amount of 50 mL will be allowed.
● To avoid cheating, students will be screened using a metal detector.
● Exam-related documents, such as the admit card and a government-issued photo identification card, are necessary.
● To use the restroom, they'll need to get permission.
As per the reports, 6.80 lakh students have enrolled for the April session examination, and 6.09 lakh for the May session examination, this year.

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Candidates should register through ID, name, date of birth, and gender.
Step 3: After this, upload the document with a scanned photograph and signature as per the instructions given.
Step 4: Fill in all your information and submit the application fee.
Step 5: Cross-check the details filled in and take a print out of the confirmation page.
