The JEE Advanced 2022 organising Institute Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has activated the mock test link. The candidates who wish to appear for the JEE (Advanced) this year can practice the sample questions given in the online mock test. Practising the given mock test will help a candidate in evaluating their preparations for the exam and to get updated with the upcoming syllabus and paper pattern. Earlier on December 14, 2021, the Joint Admission Board of JEE (Advanced) in the first JAB meeting deliberated on the numerous representations received regarding the eligibility criteria. The decision was taken with the view that the exceptional circumstances and hardships faced by the students due to the COVID-19 pandemic required some relaxation to be given.

The relaxation given by the authorities for JEE (Advanced) 2022 is provided below. Candidates should note that these relaxations are special one-time measures only.

(I) All those candidates who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2020 or 2021 and have successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2021 but were absent in BOTH the papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2, of JEE (Advanced) 2021, are eligible to directly appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022.

(II) All those candidates who appeared in class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2020 for the first time are also eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022;
A. The candidate should have appeared only once for JEE (Advanced), either in the year 2020 or 2021.
B. These candidate(s) should appear/should have appeared in JEE (Main) 2022 and meet the cut-off score of the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) for qualifying for JEE (Advanced) 2022 in their respective category.
