The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has extended the application last date for JAM 2022 examination. As per the official updates, the candidates who wish to appear for Joint Admission Test for Masters - 2022 can fill the online application upto October 14. Candidates can apply online through the official website designated for JAM 2022 - jam.iitr.ac.in.
Earlier the last date to fill online application for IIT JAM 2022 was October 11. However, the Institute has not made any changes in other dates. The online computer based (CBT) JAM exam will be held as scheduled earlier i.e. February 13, 2022. The Joint Admission Test for Masters, JAM 2022 will have seven Test Papers, namely, Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH). Successful candidates will become eligible for admission to M.Sc. (Two-year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other Post-Bachelors Degree Programmes offered by various IITs across the country and Integrated Ph.D. Programmes offered by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

IIT JAM 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/ institution.
- The candidate must have secured 55% marks in garduation. (50% in case of SC/ST and PwD candidates)
- The foreign nationals applying for admissions should have an Indian degree of bachelor’s.

IIT J AM 2022: How to fill online application form
Step 1: Visit the official website of JAM 2022 at jam.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the link that reads, ‘JAM 2022: Apply Online’.
Step 3: Now candidates will be required to generate user Id and password for fresh registration.
Step 4: Re-login using the registered id & password and feed in the detailed application form.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents and recheck the application details carefully before proceeding for fee payment.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and take print of the confirmation page for further use.
