The Indian Institute of Science, IISc Bangalore has launched the JAM 2021 Portal. This year the IISc Bangalore is conducting the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes. The Institute has issued an official notice related to this on its website. As per the JAM 2021 schedule, the registration process for the entrance exam will be commenced from September 10. The detailed schedule is available on the official website of the JAM at jam.iisc.ac.in.
All eligible and interested candidates can fill the application form for the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes upto October 15, 2020. The JAM 2021 entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2021, and the results will be announced on March 20, 2021.

JAM 2020: Changes brought
From this year, Economics has been added as a new test subject for JAM 2021. Last year the JAM 2020 discontinued the biological science paper. The examination will be conducted for seven subjects; Economics, Biotechnology, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematics. The online examination will be held on computer-based mode i.e. CBT.
IIT JAM 2020 schedule: Other Important Information
IIT JAM score is also used for admission to other centrally-funded technical institutions including NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET Punjab and IISERs.
Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is being conducted from 2004 to provide admissions to M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc. Programs at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes.
