The admit cards for the second edition of National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 has been released by the Indian Council Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The admit card link is now functional on the official website of ICAR: asrb.org.in.
The aspirants may download the Admission Certificate (Admit Card) using the Registration Number (generated at the time of your Online Application Form submission) and the Date of Birth (as entered in the online Application Form).
NET is a qualifying exam for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test will be eligible to apply for the post of Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/Aus. NET certificates will be issued by the ASRB to the qualified candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural Universities/Agricultural Universities.
SAUs/Aus will satisfy themselves with regard to the fulfilment of prescribed eligibility condition/criterion for requisite posts of lecturers/assistant professors including authenticity of the NET certificate in the possession of the candidates.
The centres of ICAR-NET (II)- 2018 Examination where the exam will be conducted in online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode are mentioned in Appendix-
1. Candidates may select two centres in order of their preference. The ASRB will make all efforts to allow the preferred centre of the first choice. However, the centres of the exam could be changed at the discretion of ASRB.
