Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, HPBOSE has postponed the Class 10th, 12th Board Exams 2021 in light of an increase in the COVID-19 cases. Along with the board examinations, the State Government has also announced to postpone the Under Graduate examinations to May 17, 2021.
The HPBOSE had scheduled the Class 10th & 12th Board Examination from April 13, which got postponed due to a surge in the COVID-19 cases across the state. The new dates for high school and intermediate examination will be announced soon by the board authorities on the official website of HPBOSE at hpbose.org.
One of the recent tweets from ANI reads, “In view of increasing #COVID19 cases in the state, it has been decided to postpone the ClassX, Class XII and Under Graduate examinations to May 17, 2021: Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh”.

Earlier today, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced to postpone the Class 12th board exams and cancelled class 10th examinations. The Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan government has also postponed the board examinations for Class 10 and 12 in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases.
