FMGE June 2023:
The National Board of Education (NBE) has commenced registration for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) June 2023 on February 09, 2023. Candidates eligible for FMGE June 2023 can apply for the Screening Test on the official website of NBE till 6 pm, March 08, 2023.
Candidates who want to appear for the FMGE 2023 must have an eligibility certificate. The official notification from NMC states, "The candidates who are required to have the eligibility certificate are not permitted to apply for Screening Test without the Eligibility Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission."
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts a Screening Test every year in June and December for candidates with a medical degree from foreign universities to make them eligible for medical practice in India.
FMGE June 2023 Exam Pattern:
The FMGE 2023 will be tentatively conducted in June, as announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The computer-based test (CBT) for the FMGE June 2023 will be bifurcated into parts A and B, each consisting of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) and each part will have a duration of 2.5 hours, making a total of 300 questions and 5 hours duration.

FMGE June 2023: How to Apply
The candidates can follow the following steps to apply for the FMGE June 2023 exam:
- Log on to the official website of NBE – nbe.edu.in
- Click on the ‘FMGE’ tab in the ‘Screening Tests’ section and then click on ‘New Registration’.
- Now fill out the user registration form to generate the User ID/Application ID and password.
- Now upload a photograph, scanned signature and other documents to complete the application process.
- Select the exam city and complete the application process by paying the examination fee.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
The result for FMGE December 2022 was recently announced by the NBE. The exam was conducted on January 20, 2023 and the individual scorecards of the candidates who appeared in the FMGE December 2022 will be released by the NBE on or after February 10, 2023.
