The exam date for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, National Eligibility Test, CSIR NET 2021 has been released. As per the official notice, the exam will now be conducted on 29th January 2022. The candidates who are going to appear for the examination can find more information from the official website- csirnet.nta.nic.in.
This exam takes place twice a year- June and December. This year, the exam was scheduled to be conducted in the month of July, but the agency cancelled the exam in view of the COVID-19 outbreak. The announcement of the exam date has been made through the official Twitter account of CSIR. It says, “Update: CSIR-NET-UGC to be held on 29/1/2022. Two more rounds are to be held after this in 2022. Details will follow.” The two more rounds of CSIR will be held in 2022. The agency will soon release the exam details, application dates and the process to apply for CSIR NET 2021.

The agency released the result for the 2020 CSIR NET on 24th February 2021. Following which the exam date for the 2021 cycle was announced. This exam is conducted every year to test the eligibility of the candidate for Lectureship, Assistant Professorship, and Junior Research Fellowship across the various universities and colleges in India. This exam is given by candidates from Science Major backgrounds. The candidates must go through the exam details once released and prepare accordingly.
