The last date for the NIMCET 2020 Application form has been extended second time by the National Institute of Technology, Raipur. The Institute has extended the application process for the NIMCET 2020 upto April 21, 2020. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and nation-wide lockdown, the Institute has issued an official notice on its website stating the extension of the last date of the application process for the second time. Earlier the application process for the NIMCET 2020 entrance examination was concluding on April 07, 2020.
The official notification reads, "In the wake of COVID-19, the last date of filling the online application form for NIMCET-2020 is extended up to April 21, 2020, till 5:00 PM (IST)." All those candidates who wish to appear for the National Institute of Technology MCA entrance examination can visit the official website (www.nimcet.in) and fill the application form online. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2020.

NIMCET 2020: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website, nimcet .in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘new registration’
Step 3: Fill in the form using personal information
Step 4: Log-in using newly registered id
Step 5: Fill form, upload documents
Step 6: Make payment and finally submit the application
Step 7: Take a print of the application form for further reference.

NIMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
Education: The candidates who wish to apply must be Indian Nationals who have secured 60 percent or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale marks in bachelor’s level course (for SC, ST category candidates it is 55 percent) can apply for the entrance exam.
Bachelor's Level Courses:
- B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects, OR
- B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University
NIMCET 2020 Test pattern:
NIMCET-2020 test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice questions which will be covering the following subjects. Multiple Choice Questions will be written in the English Language only.
1. Mathematics: 50 Questions
2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning: 40 questions
3. Computer Awareness: 10 questions
4. General English: 20 questions
Candidates should note that each correctly answered question will carry 4 marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 1 negative mark.
