The Consortium of National Law Universities, CNLU has announced the dates for CLAT 2022 exam and registration. The Common Law Admission Test, CLAT 2022 will be conducted on 8th May 2022. The interested and eligible candidates can register themselves from the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. As per the media reports, the registration window for CLAT 2022 will open on 1st January. The candidates would be able to register themselves till 31st March 2022. The test will be conducted for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
CLAT 2022 Important Dates (Tentative)
- Registration Process Commencement: 1st January 2022
- Registration Window Closure: 31st March 2022
- CLAT 2022 Exam Date: 8th May 2022 (3 pm to 5 pm)

CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Under Graduate Programme
The candidates must have passed class 10+2 or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 45 percent. The candidates appearing for the qualification examination in March/April 2022 are also eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5 percent will be given to candidates from reserved category.
Post Graduate Programme
The candidate must have a LLB degree or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 45 percent. The candidates appearing for the qualification examination in March/April 2022 are also eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5 percent will be given to candidates from reserved category.
CLAT 2022 Application Fee
- SC/ST/BPL: INR 3500
- All Other Candidates: INR 4000
CLAT 2022: Counselling Fee
The counselling fee for CLAT 2022 general category candidates is INR 30,000 and the counselling fee for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD category candidates is INR 20,000.
