CBSE Date Sheet 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CBSE board exam schedule 2025 soon. The board will issue the CBSE date sheet 2025 for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams on its official websites at cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Once the schedule is released, the candidates who are going to participate in the same will be able to check the dates. 

Recently, the board informed that Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2025 will be held for around 44 lakh students at 8,000 schools in India and 26 other countries abroad. It is expected that the annual exams for the 2024-25 academic session will commence in February next year, the CBSE board exam timetable 2025 will provide details on the exact exam days and timings along with gaps and duration.

The candidates may note that the practical exams for the 2024-25 academic year will be conducted from 5 November to 5 December 2024. This schedule has been put in place as the schools in winter-bound regions will remain closed during January 2025. For all other schools, the practical exams and internal assessments will begin on January 1, 2025. 

CBSE Date Sheet 2025: Previous year’s trend 

For the past two years, CBSE has been announcing the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in the month of December. Only in 2021 and 2022, the exams were conducted in April-June due to COVID-19. In 2024, the Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 board exams also began on February 15, 2024, but extended till April 2, 2024. The board followed a similar schedule as in earlier years.

The schools were allowed to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for CBSE board exams 2025 till October 4. OSchools affiliated with the board will process the same and submit the list of candidates or LOC.  Schools are required to submit the LOC within this period as per the details specified by the board along with the stipulated fees for the upcoming board examinations. Visually impaired students are exempted from paying class 10, and 12 board exam fees.

The List of Candidates (LOC) submission is a mandatory process for schools to register students for Class 10 and 12 Board examinations. Only those students whose names are submitted through the online LOC process will be allowed to appear for the upcoming board examinations.

The  Central Board of Examination (CBSE)  is implementing the CCTV policy for the board exams starting from the 2025 session. The exam body will hold CBSE board exams 2025 for approximately 44 lakh students of Classes 10 and 12 at around 8,000 schools in India and abroad. It will be compulsory to have a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) facility.
