Previously, CBSE instructed affiliated schools to tabulate class 10 marks and submit it to the board before June 11, 2021. According to media reports, the decision has been taken by the board authorities in view of the lockdown in several states due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and to ensure the safety of teachers and staff members.
Moreover, the CBSE 10th Result is likely to get more delayed this year as the mark submission date for schools has been extended by the CBSE. Earlier the class 10 board results were expected to be declared most probably by June 20, 2021. The board authorities have not announced any confirmed date for the result declaration.
The CBSE board authorities have announced to promote the students in the next grade only on the basis of objective criterion decided by the board. As per the CBSE objective criteria, the marks of the students will be evaluated by combining the practical examination performance and internal assessment.
Students and parents are advised to keep an eye on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for regular updates.
