The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Ahmedabad has released the exam day guidelines and instructions for CAT 2021. The Common Admission Test, CAT 2021 will be conducted on 28th November. The Common Admission Test is conducted for admission to MBA or PGDM courses in various colleges and universities across the country. The exam will take place in three different sessions- the first session will commence from 8.30 am, the second session will start from 12.30 pm and the third session will begin from 4.30 pm. The candidates will have to answer the questions in the English Language. This year, nearly 2 lakh candidates have registered for the admission test. As per the guidelines, the candidates are required to report as per the mentioned timings and should follow all the COVID-19 instructions. The candidates should note the reporting timings for all 3 sessions- 7 am for the first session, 11 am for the second, and 3 pm for the third session.

Candidates must reach at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. The entry gates will be closed and the latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam venue.

The candidates should note that any communication tools or electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall. Any jewellery or precious items are also prohibited inside the exam hall.

The candidates must follow all the COVID-19 protocols like wearing masks, using hand sanitisers, maintaining social distancing, etc. The candidates should not gather at one place under any circumstances.

The candidates will be provided with a rough sheet which is should be returned to the examiner at the end of the examination.
The candidates are advised to fill the COVID-19 self-declaration form and submit it to the examination authorities. The candidates with COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
