A notification for Chartered Accountants (CA) Exam 2021 that is to be conducted in November 2021 has been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The ICAI CA 2021 examination will now be conducted in an old/new scheme for candidates. The ICAI has released a notification for the same that says students converted from the earlier schemes are now eligible to appear in the old/new scheme November exam. The candidates can check the ICAI official website for more details on the notice- icai.org.
The Chartered Accountant 2021 Exam had students convert to the revised scheme from 21st July to 20th August 2021. Emphasizing the same, these candidates can now attend the old/new scheme for ICAI CA Intermediate Integrated Professional Competence/Intermediate and Final- Old/Final- New exams which are scheduled to be conducted in the month of November this year.
“The Examination Department vide its announcement dated June 21, 2021, had given an “Opt-out option” for examinees in case examinee himself/ herself or his/ her grandparents, parents, spouse, children and siblings (residing in the same premises) were infected with COVID-19 (with a carryover of the fee paid and exemptions granted) to the November 2021 examination cycle,” ICAI said in an official notice.

The students are now having the option of selecting their choice of scheme while filling the exam form for November 2021. The candidates must note that the choice of scheme selection is important this time as this can be the last try for many candidates. In the ICAI Chartered Accountant 2021 examination the last attempt was extended to appear for the Intermediate and Final Old Course exam irrespective of candidates opting out of the May examination. The application process is likely to start from 16th September 2021. The candidates can also go to the ICAI official website to check the exam schedule for December 2021.
