The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the new exam date for the Bihar BPSSC SI Mains Exam 2020. As per the official notification, the BPSSC will conduct the Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2019 Main Exam for 2446 posts on October 11, 2020. The examination will be held in two shifts on Sunday. Earlier the exam was postponed twice, which was scheduled on April 26 & August 23, due to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown across the state.
All those candidates who have qualified for the Bihar Police SI main examination can check the new date by visiting the official website. The notification is available on the website of the BPSSC at bpssc.bih.nic.in.

The BPSSC is conducting the recruitment examination for the post of Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/ Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman). Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission had invited applications for 2404 posts out of which 2064 are for Police Sub Inspector, 215 for Sergeant and 125 for Assistant Superintendent Jail Posts.
BPSSC SI Mains 2020: Exam Pattern
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
- Main written examination shall comprise of two papers
- Each Paper will be of 02 Hours Time Duration.
- In Paper – I, There will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Hindi Section.
- In Paper – II, There will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics & Mental Ability.
