Western Railway has issued a notification in connection with the recruitment of Apprentices.
“Application in the prescribed pro-forma are invited from the Indian citizen fulfilling the prescribed condition for undergoing Apprentices training under Apprentices Act. 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962,” read the Western Railway notification.
The last date of application is November 23, 2017.

Selection Process
Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both matriculation (With minimum 50% (aggregate) marks and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both. There will be no written test or viva.
