There are plenty of options for students to consider after they qualify their class 12 exams and engineering is one of them for many. In order to secure admission in top ranked engineering institutes or universities, the candidates have to appear for the entrance exam. There are several entrance exams organised at National (JEE), State (WBJEE) or University (BITSAT) level.
There are various engineering entrance exams organised every year for admission to different institutions. The candidates must know their preferred college for admission and its entrance test to prepare before-hand. If a student cracks a National Level entrance test like JEE, then the admission is secured to one of the IITs/NITs/IIITs as per the rank where the student will be guided with substantial study and practical learning. So here we have mentioned some of the National and State level engineering entrance exams that are scheduled for next year, 2022.
JEE 2022
The Joint Entrance Exam, JEE is conducted every year for admission to various IITs, NITs, and IIITs. JEE is conducted by National Testing Agency, NTA in two phases- Mains and Advance. The candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam become eligible for the JEE Advanced. In 2021, NTA conducted JEE Main in four sessions- February, March, April and August-September. The announcement regarding the registration process, exam date, and other information for JEE Main 2022 will be done soon. VITEEE 2022
The Vellore Institute of Technology conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam for admission to its campuses at Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal. As per the NIRF Ranking 2021, VIT is the 12th best institute for engineering program. The registration for VITEEE 2022 has already started. The desirous candidates can visit the official website at viteee.vit.ac.in to complete the registration process.
SRMJEEE 2022
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology is the conducting body of the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam. This entrance test is conducted for admission to UG Engineering programs at SRMISTs campuses across Chennai, Delhi and Ghaziabad. The registration process for SRMJEEE 2022 has already started on 16th November 2021 and the candidates can register till 2nd january 2022. WBJEE 2022
The West Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts the WBJEE for admission to engineering courses at various government engineering colleges in the state. The registration for WBJEE 2022 has started on 24th December after several delays. The interested candidates can register from the official website- wbjee.nic.in till 10th January 2022.
BITSAT 2022
The Birla Institute of Science and Technology conducts BITS Admission Test. It’s a university level entrance examination where qualifying candidates get admission to UG engineering program at campuses across Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
