The admit card for the Public Exam, SSLC Exam 2020 is expected to be released today i.e. May 18, 2020, by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations. The Tamil Nadu Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan had announced on May 15, 2020, to release the admit card after May 18, 2020. The TN SSLC Exam 2020 was earlier scheduled to be conducted from March 27 to April 13, 2020. However, due to nationwide lockdown imposed by the central government, the exams were cancelled.
The Education Minister Senkottayan announced the time table for the Tamil Nadu Board Class 10 Public Exam 2020. As per the education minster's announcement, the board exams would begin from June 1 and conclude on June 12, 2020.

The pending examinations for class 11 Chemistry, Accountancy and Geography papers has been rescheduled to be conducted on June 2, 2020.
The examinations for the above-mentioned subjects were earlier scheduled to be conducted on March 26. Also, the paper of chemistry, accounting, geography would be conducted again on June 4, for the students of HSE +2 (12th Public Exams 2020) who did not attend the March 24, 2020 examination.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and countrywide lockdown, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has postponed all major events for the wellbeing of students and to curb the community transmission of the novel coronavirus.
