DU UG Admission 2024: Delhi University (DU) has started the registration process for spot round 1 counselling for undergraduate programmes (UG) today, 18 September. Eligible candidates can register for DU UG spot round 1 admission by visiting the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.

According to the schedule, the university will release information regarding vacant seats on September 18. Candidates will have the opportunity to register for the DU UG Spot Round 1 Counselling until September 19 at 11:59 PM. The results for the DU UG Spot Round 1 Seat Allotment for 2024 will be announced on September 21.

Candidates who participated in the Spot Round Counselling must utilize their login credentials, including their registration number and password, to access and download the DU UG Spot Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2024. The deadline for candidates to accept their allotted seats is from September 21 to September 22, 11:59 PM.

As of September 15, the university has confirmed a total of 72,263 admissions. Colleges are required to verify and approve online applications by September 23 at 4:59 PM.

Delhi University has announced that candidates must accept the seat allocated to them in Spot Round 1 of the admissions process. Failure to accept the offered seat will result in the candidate forfeiting their eligibility for subsequent admission rounds and being excluded from the entire admission process. Consequently, not accepting the seat will disqualify the candidate from participating in any future rounds of admission.


DU UG Spot Round 1 Admission 2024: Eligibility
  • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who applied for CSAS UG 2024 at Delhi University but did not secure admission to any college by 5 PM on September 17 are eligible for the Spot Round 1 admissions.
  • Dashboard Lock: After the deadline on September 17, the dashboard for admitted candidates will be locked, preventing them from withdrawing their admissions.
  • Selection Process: To be eligible for spot admission, candidates must select the 'Spot Admission' option through their dashboard.
  • Program and College Combinations: Candidates can only choose Program + College combinations where seats are available according to their category, as per university guidelines.
