Bihar DCECE 2024 Mop-Up Counselling Postponed update: Citing technical issues, the Bihar Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) postponed the Mop-up Counseling for admission into Government and Private Polytechnic Engineering colleges, which was set to begin on August 26, 2024, according to media reports.  Candidates should note that the new dates for this counseling session will be communicated in due course.

While the BCECEB has revised the 1st Round Provisional Seat Allotment Results for the Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) PE 2024, the original results (released on August 5, 2024) contained errors that have now been corrected.

Changes in the Revised Results
Candidates with Altered Allotments
A total of 67 candidates have experienced changes in their assigned institutes, branches, categories, or allotment remarks in the updated results when compared to the original allocations. These individuals are required to withdraw from their previously assigned institutes and complete the document verification process at their new institutes by August 28, 2024.

New Allotments
The updated results feature new allocations for 7 candidates who had not been assigned seats in the initial round. These candidates are expected to follow the same protocol for document verification and admission.

Cancelled Allotments
The allotments for 7 candidates, who were part of the initial results, have been cancelled in the revised allotment. These candidates will need to await the results of the 2nd Round Seat Allotment.

It should be mentioned that candidates listed in the revised results must log in to the Online Counseling Portal, download their Revised Provisional Seat Allotment Orders, and complete the admission process at their Reporting Center by August 28, 2024. However, failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of their allotted seats and ineligibility for the 2nd Round Counseling. For further details, candidates should visit the BCECEB's official website and adhere to the updated instructions and deadlines.
