According to the official schedule, the GATE 2025 exam will be conducted from 1 february onwards in two shifts, the result of which will be declared the 19th March, 2025.
Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts. Candidates in the third year of their undergraduate program can also apply for the same.
On the behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India, the GATE 2025 examination will be conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.

GATE 2025 Exam: Key Details
- First shift: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Second shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
- Female candidates registering during the extended period will pay ₹1,400 per test paper.

- Then, click on the registration link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- Fill the application form, upload the required documents, pay fees and submit.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
