A galaxy of speakers will address One Globe 2013: Uniting Knowledge Communities, scheduled to be held at Delhi Feb 7-8.

About 70 eminent speakers will address the conference, a global collaborative initiative with a mission to create the 21st Century knowledge economy in India and South Asia.

"These dignitaries will deliberate and share perspective on achieving sustainable social and economic growth and development through discourse over innovation, technology, and skills development in education," said a statement from the organisers.

Among the key speakers are: Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Skills Development S. Ramadorai, and Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) president and member of the Rajya Sabha Karan Singh.

Others to address the conference include member of the Rajya Sabha and member of the Nalanda University's Standing Committee on Education and Board Member N.K. Singh and CEO-TERI R.K. Pachauri.

Organised by Salwan Media, which focuses on education, consumer and business information, the two-day event will also feature university leaders, high school principals and teachers from India and around the world.
