Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce University Grant Commission's National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) July 2018 results by the end of this month, according to reports.
While the CBSE conducted the exam on July 8 this year, the online registration process started on March 6, 2018. The newly-formed National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET exam to be held in December this year.

The NET is conducted to select the eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and the award of Junior Research Fellowship.
Question paper pattern
The UGC NET exam is held in two sessions comprising two different papers.
The UGC NET exam pattern is mentioned below.
All the papers will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
UGC NET paper 1, and 2 will have a total of 320 marks with a total time duration of 3 hours.
UGC NET paper 1 will have 100 marks and paper 2 will have a total of 200 marks.
UGC NET Paper 1 exam timing: 1 Hour (9.30 am – 10.35 am)
UGC NET Paper 2 exam timing: 2 Hour (11.00 am – 1.00 pm)
