The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) is likely to release the result for the class 10 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams 2017 in the first week of June, according to reports. However, official update is yet to come from the board.
Last year, about 35,000 students appeared for the Class 10 Board exams and the overall pass percentage was 61.52 per cent with boys outperformed girls by registering 68.02 per cent. The top positions are bagged by Imphal girls – Sohana Laishram, Naorem Suzanna and Maibram Vasundhara.
While Manipur Board HSC or Class 12 result was declared on May 25, the overall pass percentage stood at 92.1 per cent. Ngangom Jinita from Enlighten Knowledge Hr. Sec. School, Sangakpham topped with 454 marks.
For the academic year 2015-2016, around 35000 students appeared for the BSEM HSLC class 10 exams and the overall pass percentage was 61.52%.
