The summer vacations to begin from May 11 to June 30 for Delhi's government and government-aided schools. During this time, no students will be called for any teaching learning activity in schools. Teaching learning activities and other activities in schools have already been postponed from March 23 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Till May 17 the lockdown period has also been extended in the nation. In such a situation, the summer vacation for the students has now been announced in Delhi.
 
The summer holidays are being done according to the pre-decided academic calendar. The students and their parents will be informed about the summer holidays by SMS, WhatsApp.
 
No date has been disclosed on when the new session will start. It is believed that the new season may start from mid-July. Online studies will continue during summer vacation. As we can see the number of COVID-19 increasing it is difficult to say when the schools will get re-open.
 
Advisory for a summer vacation in private schools in Delhi has been issued in a phased manner. According to SK Bhattacharya, chairman of the Action Committee for Unaided-Recognized Private Schools, Action has set up an advisory for all private schools to declare summer vacation in a phased manner.
 
The online classes for students from class 1st to 5th will be till May 22. For Classes IX to XII the online classes will be till May 30. In such a situation, schools have been asked to have a summer vacation (summer vacation) from June 1 to June 30. It is recommended the vacations for nursery and KG classes to begin in advance. There are more than one thousand private schools under the Action Committee.
