Exam pattern:
UP-TET is based on the National Curriculum Framework in which graduates, including BA, BSc, and BCom etc are eligible to take the test. To be appointed as a teacher, all BEd. Graduates need to pass the written exam. TET consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper-II.
Paper I – is conducted for aspirants opting for selection to class I to V and Paper II – is conducted for aspirants opting for selection to class VI to VIII.
If a candidate wants to apply for Class 1 to 8 he will have to qualify both the papers.
Generally, the UPBEB conducts the exam for Paper-II in the morning session (9.30 am to 12.00 noon) and Paper-I exam in the evening session (2.00 pm to 4.30 pm). The duration of the exam is 2.30 hours.
