The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the medical examination dates for SSC GD Constable 2018. The notice of SSC can be checked on the official website, ssc.nic.in.

The official notification reads, "Candidates of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination (DME) of shortlisted candidates has been scheduled by the CAPFs from 09-01-2020 to 13-02-2020."

The examination is scheduled to be held from January 09 to February 13, 2020, at various centres across the country. 

The PET/PST result for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 was declared on December 18, 2019. Candidates who have qualified for the PET/PST examination will have to appear for medical examination on the scheduled date. A total of 1,75,370 candidates will have to appear for the Detailed Medical Exam.

Step 4: Check the official notification and download the page for further need.

The number of vacancies have also been revised by the Commission. The vacancies have increased from 54,953 posts to 60210 posts out of which 50699 are assigned to male candidates and 9511 have been assigned to female candidates.
